Poi Passion has built a relationship with Brighton 's Radio Reverb team, which is a community based radio station. Radio Reverb has been a great support to Poi Passion in the last year, giving interviews on the station about Poi Passion and their workshops and community work.

Radio Reverb has been fund rising for their FM transmitters for a couple of years. Poi Passion and its team decided that they would like to be a part of helping the Radio Reverb raise money to get their fm transmitters. So in 2006 Poi Passion held poi-a-thon on Brighton 's level, running different work shops for the public and a sponsored poi-a-thon, so we would see who could poi for the longest time. We had live acts DJ, poi workshops and most of all the sponsored "poi-a-thon". Friends of Poi Passion raised £500 for Radio Reverb, making Poi Passion a founder member of the station.

Poi Passion has launched its own radio slot on Radio Reverb, producing a show called Global Dance. This is about dance and music from around the world. We interview different people who are involved in dance workshop in Brighton.

Tune into global dance 97.2fm at Radio Reverb Wednesday at 3pm, Thursday 5am and Sunday 8am. Presented by Kate Wright aka India Fire and her many interesting guests.

If you would like to come on the show to talk about your work with in the community please speak to Kate Wright. (See contact details).

Poi Passion enjoys working closely in the community and looks forward to seeing you at some of our events over the next few years. And hope that the community of Brighton will support Global Dance and Radio Reverb.
